  • 2 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • 2 bell peppers (capsicum), preferably different colors (red, yellow, green), chopped into small pieces

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Fresh cilantro leaves, chopped for garnish


  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
  • If using fresh corn on the cob, boil or steam the corn until tender, and then remove the kernels. If using frozen or canned corn, drain and set them aside.
  • Chop the bell peppers into small pieces, finely chop the onion, mince the garlic, and finely chop the green chilies.

  • Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
