Oreo Fudge

Oreo fudge is a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the creamy richness of fudge with the irresistible flavor of Oreo cookies. It’s a perfect treat for Oreo lovers. Here’s how to make Oreo fudge:

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups (18 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (about 20-24 cookies), divided
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare a Pan:
  • Line an 8Γ—8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal. This will make it easier to lift and cut the fudge later.
  1. Melt the Chocolate:
  • In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter. If using the microwave, heat the chocolate in 20-30 second intervals, stirring each time until smooth. Be careful not to overheat; you want the chocolate to be just melted.
  1. Add Sweetened Condensed Milk:
  • Stir in the sweetened condensed milk and a pinch of salt (if using) into the melted chocolate mixture. Mix until well combined.
  1. Add Vanilla Extract:
  • Stir in the pure vanilla extract to flavor the fudge.
  1. Fold in Crushed Oreos:
  • Gently fold in 1 1/2 cups of the crushed Oreo cookies into the chocolate mixture. Reserve the remaining 1/2 cup for topping.
  1. Transfer to Pan:
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to smooth it out evenly.
  1. Add Remaining Crushed Oreos:
  • Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of crushed Oreo cookies evenly over the top of the fudge, pressing them down slightly to adhere.
  1. Chill:
  • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2-3 hours or until it’s set and firm.
  1. Cut and Serve:
  • Once the fudge is set, use the parchment paper overhangs to lift it out of the pan. Place it on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to cut it into squares or rectangles.
  1. Enjoy:
    • Serve your Oreo fudge squares and enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Oreo fudge is a delightful treat that’s perfect for parties, holidays, or any time you’re craving a sweet and chocolaty dessert with the added crunch and flavor of Oreo cookies.
