Jane Wyman

Jane Wyman was an American actress. She received an Academy Award, three Golden Globe Awards and nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards. Wyman’s professional career began at age 16 in 1933, when she signed with Warner Bros.

Jane Wyman was an American actress who had a long and successful career in film, television and radio. She is best known for her roles in The Yearling (1946), Johnny Belinda (1948), All That Heaven Allows (1955) and Falcon Crest (1981-1990). She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as a deaf-mute rape victim in Johnny Belinda, and was nominated three more times for The Yearling, The Blue Veil (1951) and Magnificent Obsession (1954). She also won two Golden Globe Awards and three Emmy Awards for her work on television. She was married to actor Ronald Reagan from 1940 to 1948, and was the only wife of a US president to have been divorced.
